CHIEF H2020 survey

Participation:
Thank you for participating in this survey. It will require approximately 40 minutes to answer all questions.

Please answer all questions as honestly as possible. There are no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answers – we are simply interested in your views.

Confidentiality:
Your confidentiality will be protected. To ensure that all information will remain confidential, we will not ask you for your name. Further, the findings that we publish will always be aggregated with other respondents so that no one will be able to identify you or your school/college.

Risks and withdrawal:
There is no compensation for responding nor are there any known risks. Participation is voluntary. You may withdraw from the study at any time without any consequences.

Data Archiving:
Once the project has been completed, the data from the survey will be added to the UK Data Archive (a database where Social Science research data is stored and made available to other researchers). Any information that could be used to identify you, such as the name of your school will not be shared. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have an obligation to inform you of the legal basis upon which we’re applying to use your information. These are: for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest; for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purpose.

By responding to this survey you will help us to understand what young people think and want so we can inform people in positions of authority (e.g. teachers, politicians).
